Põhjamaade Veneetsia

Põhjamaade-Veneetsia on nimetus, mida on kasutatud mitmete Euroopa linnade kirjeldamiseks. Tavaliselt võrreldakse nn Põhjamaade Veneetsiaid Itaalia Veneetsiaga rohkete kanalite tõttu. Näiteks Amsterdami on nii kutsutud aastasadu, Eesti linnadest on Põhjamaade Veneetsiaks nimetatud Haapsalu. Aastal 1930 ilmus Tallinnas saksa kirjaniku Rosa Kaulitz-Niedecki raamat "Haapsalu – Põhjamaade Veneetsia".
