Gang Starr oli Ameerika Ühendriikide hiphopansambel, mille liikmed olid Guru ja Dj Premier. Ansambel sai tuntuks džäss-räpi žanri pioneerina.

Guru DJ Premier | |
Gang Starr loodi 1987. aastal Guru, DJ 1,2 B Downi ja Mike Dee poolt 1987. 1988. aastal lasid räpparid legendaarse Wild Pitchi plaadifirma kaudu välja kolm singlit. 1989. aastal lahkusid SJ 1,2 B Down ja Mike Dee ansamblist ja ainukeseks liikmeks jäi Guru, kes leidis peagi ühise keele DJ Premier'ga. Ta kutsus Premier' bändi ja koos anti välja singel "Words I Manifest". 2000. aastate alul läks ansambel laiali ning Guru suri 2010. aastal. Siiski andis 2019. aastal DJ Premier Gang Starri nime all välja albumi "One of the Best Yet".
