„Maiste naudingute aed“ ehk „Lõbude aed“ on Madalmaade kunstniku Hieronymus Boschi arvatavalt aastatel 1490–1510 valminud õlimaal. See tammepuust tahvlitele maalitud triptühhon, mis XVII sajandil kuulus Hispaania ja Portugali kuninga Felipe IV erakokku, on alates 1939. aastast Prado muuseumi kogudes Madridis.

Pealkiri muuda

Teose algset pealkirja ei teata kindlalt. Felipe IV kogus oli teos pealkirjaga „La Pintura del Madroño“. Mihhail Alpatovi "Kunstiajaloo" eestikeelse väljaande II köites on teose pealkiri „Lõbude aed“.[2] Mitmed kunstiteadlased on seda nimetanud „Maiste naudingute aiaks“.

Sisu muuda

Teose sisu on sajandite jooksul tõlgendatud erinevalt. Näiteks M. Alpatov kirjeldas XX sajandi teisel poolel teost muu hulgas järgmiselt: „Siin vohavad läbisegi inimesed, koletuslikud värdjad, metselajad, hiiglatiivulised ja põrgulikud piinariistad; kaljud näivad paigast lahti rabelevat ja end lõustadeks kiskuvat ning pahklikud puud püüavad muunduda tontlikeks peletisteks. /.../ Boschi koletised ei hirmuta enam kedagi, nad on naeruväärsed ja mõttetud nagu karnevalimaskid.“[2]
