Maris Rattas

Maris Rattas (sündinud 17. veebruaril 1965 Kuressaares) on eesti geoloog.

Elulugu

Lõpetas 1983 Leisi Keskkooli ja 1988 TÜ; magister (geoloogia, 1997, TÜ), väitekiri "Moreenide litoloogia ja stratigraafia Saadjärve voorestikus", Ph.D. (2004, TÜ), doktoriväitekiri "Subglacial environments in the formation of drumlins. The case of the Saadjärve Drumlin Field, Estonia" (Tartu, 2004). Oli 1988–97 Eesti Geoloogiakeskuse geoloog, 1997–99 osakonna juhataja, 1999–2000 TÜ geoloogia instituudi vaneminsener, aastast 2002 teadur.

Teadustöö

Uurimisvaldkond: pleistotseeni paleogeograafia, glatsiaalsetete sedimentoloogia ja stratigraafia, liustikualused protsessid ja glatsiotektoonika. 38 teadustrükist.
