Late Medieval silver mount
Kirjeldus
English: A small silver mount in the shape of an ivy leaf, with a central circular hole. On the back of the horizontal leaves are two rivets and traces of a third on the uppermost leaf. The mount may have originally been attached to a larger object, such as a casket or book cover. The mount dates to the 14th to 15th century.
The reverse shows the characteristic curving ridges of cuttlefish bone from the mould in which this was cast.
