The Everly Brothers

The Everly Brothers oli Ameerika Ühendriikides tegutsenud kantri- ja rock'n'roll'i duett, kuhu kuulusid vennad Don (1937–2021) ja Phil Everly (1939–2014). Duett tegutses aastatel 1957–1973 ja uuesti 1983–2005.

Kantrilauljate peres sündinud duett oli 1950. aastate lõpus ja 1960. aastate alguses muusika maailma tipus ning mõjutas seeläbi ka selliseid ansambleid nagu The Beatles, The Beach Boys ja Simon & Garfunkel.

The Everly Brothersi tuntumate laulude hulka kuuluvad "Bye Bye Love" (1957), "Wake Up Little Susie" (1957) ja "All I Have to Do Is Dream" (1958).

Duett läks ootamatul lahku 1973. aastal, kui Phil keset kontserti kitarri puruks peksis ja lavalt minema kõndis, jättes Doni esinemist lõpetama. Nad tulid uuesti kokku taas kümme aastat hiljem.

1986. aastal võeti The Everly Brothers Rock'n'rolli Kuulsuste Halli ja 2001. aastal Kantrimuusika Kuulsuste Halli liikmeks.
