Philip Ball (sündinud 1962) on Briti teadusajakirjanik ja teaduskirjanik.

Ta on lõpetanud Oxfordi Ülikooli keemia alal ja saanud füüsikas doktorikraadi Bristoli Ülikoolist.

Ta oli üle 20 aasta teadusajakirja Nature toimetaja[1]. Selle töö kõrvalt kirjutas ta aimeraamatuid ja tegi kaastööd väljaannetele New Scientist, New York Times, The Guardian, Financial Times ja New Statesman. Praegu on ta vabakutseline teaduskirjanik ja jätkab meediaväljaannetele kaastöö tegemist.[1]
