In 1932-1937 ''Eesti entsüklopeedia'' in 8 volumes was issued (supplement) in 1940. I don't know about its copyright status. [[Kasutaja:Andres|Andres]] 12:02, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)

:Thanks Andres! Could you find these works and send them to me in Sweden? What would that cost? Project Runeberg is very careful with copyright. But if we cannot digitize a work this year, maybe we can do so next year. Eventually the copyright expires and the works fall into the public domain. (For Mugasto's illustrations, this happens at the end of 2007, as I mentioned.) For encyclopedias and journals, there are usually so many contributing authors and illustrators that it becomes practically impossible to investigate everybody's death year. Therefore, we have taken the approach of waiting 70 years after the year of first publication, as if they were works of anonymous authors. Nobody has protested so far. After all, there is very little commercial value in old encyclopedias or journals. This is a practical approach that everybody seem to be happy with. In the case of K-A Hermann, he lived 1851-1909 (says [http://erb.nlib.ee/registrid.php?autor=Hermann,%20Karl%20August ERB]) so all his works are in the public domain already. Did he write other interesting works? --[[Kasutaja:LA2|LA2]] 19:58, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
