Alvin Plantinga
Alvin Carl Plantinga (sündinud 15. novembril 1932 Ann Arboris Michiganis) on Hollandi päritolu[1] Ameerika Ühendriikide filosoof, Notre Dame'i ülikooli emeriitprofessor. Ta on analüütiline filosoof, kelle valdkonnad on religioonifilosoofia ja loogika.

Plantinga sai 1958. aastal Yale'i Ülikoolist doktorikraadi (PhD).[2] 1955. aastal abiellus ta Kathleen De Boeriga,[3] neil on neli last: Carl, Jane, Harry ja Ann.[4][5]
